zerooo is the reusable system for cosmetics and drugstore products. Starting in 2021, SEA ME GmbH built an infrastructure for the take-back, cleaning, and refilling of custom-developed reusable containers—in drugstores such as Müller and Budni, as well as at EDEKA and REWE. Since 2024, products from eight brands across three countries have been available and returnable in over 1,000 store locations. With new packaging solutions and additional partners, SEA ME is expanding the system as a resource-conserving, low-emission alternative to single-use packaging.

With its serialized PET bottle, zerooo uses our Circular ERP pool management platform to automate administration and manage serialized bottle passports for quality management. The empties return with labels that wash off during the cleaning process. Before entering the washing line, scanning the GTIN and serialization code links the previous contents to the bottle—creating an individual product passport for soap, shampoo, and facial toner over the course of its life cycle. This enables zerooo to track transit times, reuse cycles, and the contents of every single bottle.
